The most most famous beerhall in the world? It HAS to be the Hofbräuhaus. Get your Mass of beer at Platzl 9, 80331 München. Just a few minutes walk from Marienplatz. (Or you could just take a tour with us - we always stop here for a break)

Augustiner Großgaststätten. Augustiner is regarded by many beer experts (including us at Dark History Tours - we may not be experts yet but we are getting there and we take our research very seriously) as being one of the world's best beers. Find out why in this very traditional and cosy beerhall, situated between Karls Tor and Marienplatz. The food is very traditional although vegetarian options may be limited to Kase  Spätzle (Bavarian noodles with cheese). Do not be shy in here - if there is a space at a table, ask if it is free.
